Permanent Make-up

EYEBROWS

Eyebrow Permanent Makeup is a procedure that can mimic the appearance of the hair in brow line.  Anyone who desires fuller looking eyebrows, especially those who use a pencil to fill or draw them in, will love the procedure, saving them up to thirty minutes everyday, enabling them to go swimming, play sports or wipe their foreheads without the embarrassment of not having eyebrows or uneven eyebrows.  Alopecia sufferers are pleasantly surprised at how natural it  looks.

EYE LINER

A subtle natural Eye Lining Permanent Makeup Procedure can mimic the look of fuller eyelashes, which is popular with men and women, and is achieved by implantation of pigments in the lash line.  Additional shadowing of color can create a soft, “smudged” look or a more bold definite line can be created as well.  Ophthalmologists recommend Permanent Makeup Procedures for those who are allergic to conventional makeup and for those who wear contact lenses and glasses.  Eyeliner can be applied as a definite line or a subtle shadow in the lashes.

LIP LINER/FULL LIP COLOR

The lip liner/full lip color Permanent Makeup procedure provides youthful and naturally defined results.  It can enhance the size and shape of the lips as well as the color.  The Permanent Makeup lip procedure helps to prevent the look of a bleeding lipstick into the surrounding skin.  It can also camouflage facial lines surrounding the lips as a result of aging or smoking, asymmetries and scarring.  A soft pinkish/red color, similar to the lip color of a newborn baby, is popular for those wanting a natural look.

BEAUTY MARKS

This Permanent Makeup procedure can add that “Hollywood” beauty mark that so many famous people are known for.  The placement of the mark will be chosen by you and the procedure looks so natural.

AREOLA RESTORATION/CAMOUFLAGE

Areola Restoration (nipple color correction/enhancement) benefits women with irregular shaped/discolored nipples and who have undergone surgical procedures like mastectomies, breast reconstruction, breast reductions, and breast implants.  This procedure recreates a symmetrical and naturally colored nipple.

SCAR CAMOUFLAGE

Scar Camouflage is used to enhance or correct skin imperfections from surgeries, or bodily injuries like burns and scarring from accidents by the process of skin re-pigmentation with pigments to match your natural skin tone.  Hairline Camouflage is available too!

WHAT IS PERMANENT MAKEUP?

Permanent makeup, also known as micro-pigment implantation, is the art of implanting pigment into the uppermost dermal layer of the skin by way of traditional tattooing.   Eyeliner, lip color, brow and camouflaging can all be achieved with this technique.

Each procedure takes approximately two to three hours including the drawing and color selection. Most procedures are performed with topical anesthesia.  Oral medication for pain and to relax you may be given if you have a driver.

All of our instruments are sterilized and disposable.  Prior to all procedures, a patch test is given to determine if there will be an adverse reaction to the pigment.

Recuperation time varies, but can last anywhere from 4 days for eyeliner and brow procedures, to one week for lip procedures. There is swelling involved and sometimes bruising.

Pre-procedure instructions and, in some cases, medications will need to be dispensed prior to a procedure.

All procedures generally need at least one touch-up before the work can be considered complete.  This can be done anytime during a six-month time frame.
