Your Safety
When a person chooses to undergo voluntary surgery, it is imperative that the qualifications of the surgeon and the operating facility are of the highest level. The certifications and years of experience that distinguish Dr. Robert Cooper, The Nile Aesthetic Institute, Water's Edge Surgery Center, and The Pavilion Resort ensure your safety for all stages of the self-improvement process.
Dr. Cooper is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. The American Board of Plastic Surgery is the only ABMS board that has traditionally overseen the training and certification of plastic and reconstructive surgeons. His memberships in the American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery are additional markers of his qualifications as a surgeon. Learn more about board certification.
The Water's Edge Surgery Center offers state-of-the-art surgical suites and recovery rooms that are licensed by the State of Florida (AHCA) and accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, Inc. (AAAHC). The operating and recovery rooms are equipped to hospital standards. Because patient safety is our top priority, we have two Board-certified M.D. Anesthesiologists and a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist at Water's Edge Surgery Center and M.D.-administered anesthesia is available for patients at all times.
An important aspect of your care relates to the quality of systems in place for insuring your safety not only during, but also after surgery. Registered Nurses who are certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support are with our patients during their stay in the recovery room.
You can also choose to stay at The Pavilion Resort, which is located adjacent to Water's Edge Surgery Center and offers the "Special Care" package of services for guests who happen to be plastic surgery patients. These services include round-the-clock monitoring and personalized service during the immediate days following surgery and gourmet meals three times daily. Because of its close proximity to his surgical center, Dr. Cooper typically goes to The Pavilion Resort twice each day to visit his patients who choose to stay there.
